Brought to you by a group pf Latino activist from both the the SEIU Local 888 and the Democratic Party, this platform committee hearing will provide you an opportunity to testify on the 2013 Massachusetts Democratic Platform. Special attention will be given to the topic of immigration and education.
The Party's platform is the document which state it values that it adhere to and promotes. Once all the testimony is collected and put together by the drafting committee it is voted and agreed upon by delegate at a State Convention (07/13/2013) every four years.
Testimony in Spanish is welcome and we are devoting the first half of this meeting to immigration and education.Bringing written testimony is strongly encouraged.
