Historic Maps of Charlestown

A lot of customers in the store love looking at the old maps I have of Boston.  Many of the Charlestown residents ask if I have any of Charlestown.  I did not.  But now the answer is yes!  These maps (generally from around 1912) show all the plots of land and identifies buildings.  So, that big brick building on your street that you always wondered what it was, can now be solved.  For example, on the map of my area, the Crosby Steam Gage building is labeled (including the boiler room, now the Vet clinic), and the building next door was the Puritan Brewery Company.  And next to that was Wirht's Bottling Works.  I find these maps very interesting, and hope you do as well.  All that is needed to find a map of your area is your address!!
