YOUR TURN: The NFL's Replacement Referees

Here's your chance to sound off on the quality of the officiating in the NFL and what you think should be done about it.

If you're a local football fan, the New England Patriots' controversial Sunday Night loss to the Baltimore Ravens probably left you with a bad taste in your mouth and a strong opinion about the status of officiating in the NFL.

The much-discussed replacement referee issue was forced front-row center again Monday night when a nationally-televised game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers appeared to be determined by an incorrect call made by a team of back-up officials.

So, we have to ask - what do you think about the quality of officiating in the NFL? Do you think the league owes it to the players, owners and fans to put the best product on the field, no matter what it costs?

Should League Commissioner Roger Goodell bend to the demands of the locked out referee union to get them back on the field as soon as possible? Do you sympathize with the replacement referees who are working under a great deal of pressure with little experience?

Let us know by voicing your opinion in the comments section below.

I'm a big Cowboy fan. One of the replacement refs threw his hat right into the path of our wide receiver in the end zone. He slipped on it and fell. Coulda gotten hurt.

But that's nothing compared to how they gave the game to the Seahawks last night. Replacement refs have to go.

Chris - being a Cowboys fan is a problem in itself. But yes, these replacement refs are really doing the league and fans a disservice. Come on Goodell - just give them some more $$ already.

Upon further review, Milan Lucic did not touch second base, therefore: touchdown Celtics!
