Nice. So far so good. I don't think its fair to expect them to take people to a competitor, so this is a very nice gesture.

Kudos to Whole Foods for offering this service. It's clear they are aware of the community's concern and want to play an active role in supporting the area they will be servicing in the years to come. Change can be difficult sometimes, but keeping an open mind and giving the 'new guy' a chance can be helpful through this transition.

Well done. Now it would be nice to see Whole Foods charging a little less for staples when they open. I shop at Market Basket-but I like Whole Foods' food-it's just ridiculously expensive for a lot of item. Thanksgiving for instance would be almost twice as much as most competitors. I actually perceived Johnny's to be high in price, I hope (for other families as much as my own) that WF can find a balance and not be just a place for the yuppies.

I love Whole Foods and it's higher priced, BETTER quality meat, fish, produce, dairy and pantry foods.

Further, this is a wonderful gesture and will help locals familiarize themselves with the store and determine what isn't cost prohibitive.

Let's face it ......C-town is no longer a "Working class neighborhood"
It is now an upper middle class city enclave with a large public housing and elder housing set up.
It is what it is.........

In a perfect world we could all eat our organic hand massaged chicken with a nice glass of organic chianti and finish it with some local organic ice cream then climb into our Cadillacs and hit the BSO for a night of melodic revery.

This is a fine gesture by Whole Foods on behalf of the Charlestown community, but how are folks who are on a limited income going to get to less expensive grocery stores?
