Who's the Best for Last-Minute Taxes?
Please vote for your tax services business by taking our poll and by clicking on the directory link and writing a short one or two sentence review.
With tax day coming up, our Best of Patch Readers' Choice contest turns its attention this week to financial services. So, we're asking you: where do you go when you need last-minute tax advice?
Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:
Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

H&R Block in Chucktown, specifically Peg McLaughlin. She has 25 years experience and used to work at the IRS. She fixed a return that a novice H&R Block rep had screwed up a couple years ago (and I was audited) and has been my go-to person ever since.

I also like H&R Block a lot, especially Nigel and Peg ! They have been a great help in getting my taxes done. I can strongly recommend them !

Peg McLaughlin is the best, hands down. She is smart, efficient, lives in Charlestown, and her years with the IRS make her a no-brainer.

We added an entry to this list after getting the following email: This year I had my taxes done at the Bunker Hill Community College for free! I would put them on the list as many people may not know that they provide this service.

I would like to thank all the staff at the C-Town H R Block. I visit the office time to time for tax help and to see the great staff there. Thank you for being in the neighborhood
