Charlestown residents have a wealth of sports teams to root for—with one local team in each of the major professional leagues. But, if you had to pick just one, which one would it be?
Are the Bruins your favorite? Maybe the Celtics?

I put my heart, soul, hard earned cash, blood, sweat and tears into the Celtics. However, I do love the Bruins on the same level. They show passion, heart and dedication that is unparallelled out of the four major Boston sports.

I'm not surprised the Bruins are ahead, considering at least one Bruin lives in the Town and there are several NHL hopefuls from here, as well, but as someone who grew up hearing about the glories of hockey from his North-Dakota-born father, it's always good to see that it's a favorite sport somewhere outside of the frozen tundra. I voted for the Bruins, but I feel a bit guilty about it, as though I've abandoned the Red Sox in their time of need. Oh well.

Unfortunate that the Bruins organization isn't as enthusiastic about Charlestown. Numerous requests to the organization for appearances all followed by a big "Sorry. Cant make it".
