How can the city help us get more field space in Charlestown? A huge number of children (and adults) in Charlestown are involved in organized town sports, but the lack of adequate field space is holding local organizations back. The Charlestown Sports Collaborative has scheduled a meeting to be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lacrosse Learning Center with representatives from Parks and Recreation (Rryan Fitzgerald), Public Health (Dr. Nguyen), Mayor's Office (Danielle Valle-Fitzgerald), etc. Can you attend? Anyone who is interested in helping explore opportunities for expanding Charlestown's field space is invited to join us.
