Warren at DNC: The System is Rigged Against the Middle Class
Elizabeth Warren, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night. What did you think of her speech?
The system is rigged against middle class families, and unchecked corporate greed will take us all down, according to Massachusetts U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren who spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night.
"Each generation built something solid so that the next generation could build something better," she said. "But not for many years. Talk to the construction worker from Malden who went nine months without a job... Talk to the student in Worcester who worked hard to finish his degree and now he's drowning in debt...The system is rigged against them."
Warren, who took the stage just prior to former president Bill Clinton, said Romney's plan to lower the richest American's taxes would send the economy spiraling backwards. She called several times for Americans to band together to work for the next generation's benefit.
Did you watch Warren's speech? Do you think she did enough to address the concerns Americans and Charlestown residents have about jobs and the economy today? Do you believe the playing field in America is rigged? Share your thoughts in the comments.

That's obamas strategy...he is commanding the uninformed and the ignorant/stupid vote. Great video b/t/w. we will soon find out in January if the country is > 50% stupid. Reminds me of the president of a civil rights organization ripping Nike for plans to release a sneaker that will be priced too high... Its "Insensitive"... Wonder if he will back me....I plan on protesting Rolls-Royce for releasing the Phantom. If I buy it I will default on my mortgage and that's not fair. I should be entitled to have one too.

I am not worried: Brown is going to CRUSH her in November. Then the fake Indian, carpet-bagging, Harvard "professor" will be added to the long list of "also-rans." (Remember Shannon O'Brien? No? Well that is my point.)
