Suspected Dog Poisoner Denies Charges, Held on $5,000 Bail
Kenneth Hyland, 53, of Everett, also has outstanding legal cases in Lynn and Woburn.
Kenneth Hyland, 53, of Everett—the man suspected of poisoning dogs on Medford Street—told a judge today he denied the charges against him.
Hyland, who caught regional attention after a Charlestown resident confronted him on Sunday, Sept. 16 and told police that he believed the landscaper was poisoning dogs, confronted the judge Monday in Charlestown District Court. He was arrested Friday.
The judge ordered that Hyland be held on $5,000 bail, according to the Boston Herald. The Herald also reported that Hyland has outstanding court cases in both Lynn and Woburn.

It sounds like this is just for the dog poisoning - the attempted kidnapping is old news for this scumbag.

Keep Charlestown safe and healthy. Dog fouling in public is unhealthy and degrades the community. Anyone walking with a dog and promoting their pet to relieve itself in public is putting our health at risk. Even if they pick-up, the contaminants left behind poses a serious health risk to humans. Did you ever see a dog owner pick-up # 1?
A dogs worms from poop can last in the soil for up to 5 years...think about it!

so where do you suggest dogs piss and shit John? Let's only drive electric cars in charlestown too, its better for us. Lets not let anyone smoke, I dont want second hand smoke. I doubt you know very much about dog fouling and the health risks, you are just as likely to get sick from that as you are getting bit by a mosquito or from bird shit. Should we kill all the birds that shit on the playground?
Just a person!

How about letting your dog crap on your own property and not the cities. Dirty, nasty people.

Where would you suggest people that don't own outside space have their dog piss? Sorry we can't all own 600K condos with outside space. Laura you are probably some swanky woman who lives in a dream world that parks with dirt on the ground and sidewalks that have people walking on them everyday should be clean enough for you to eat off them.

The news is reporting the guy is from Charlestown. But this article is saying he is from Everett. i hope it's Everett. I know it doesn't help the sick dog....but, I'd still rather he wasn't a Townie.
