Student Walk-Outs Planned For 'Occupy Boston' Rally

Students from schools in the Boston area are expected to walk out of class Wednesday.

A nation-wide student walk-out is planned Wednesday at noon and includes several colleges and universities in the Boston area.

"From New York to Los Angeles, students will march in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement," according to the #OccupyBoston website.

Students from Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern, Tufts, Brandeis, Harvard, MIT, UMass Boston, Berklee, Simmons, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, are expected to join in the march which ends at Dewey Square, near South Station, where the Occupy Boston group has been camping out.

The local group has held several protests recently in Boston, including a small gathering on Beacon Hill.
