Republicans Holding a Meet the Candidates Night in Watertown
Local Congressional candidate Charles Klauder will attend a meeting of Watertown's Republican Town Committee.
The Watertown Republican Town Committee will host a meet the candidate night on May 21 in Watertown along with other area Republican groups.
Scheduled to attend the event is Republican Charles Klauder, the Chelsea School Committee member who hopes to unseat incumbent Gene O'Flaherty as state representative for the 2nd Suffolk District, which includes Charlestown.
The event will be held a Marine Corps League Shutt Detachment, 215 Mt. Auburn St. in Watertown, at 7 p.m.
Other candidates who will attend the event are:
- Jeff Semon and Frank Addivinola - U.S. Congress, 5th Congressional District
- Tomi Olson - 24th Middlesex State Representative
- Thomas Vasconcelos - 26th Middlesex State Representative
- Steve Aylward - candidate for 2nd Suffolk and Middlesex Senate seat
- Francis Stanton - candidate for state representative, 10th Middlesex
The evening begins with the meet and greet, which will be followed by a question and answer period.
The event will be hosted in conjunction with the Boston Republican City Committee, the Belmont Republican Town Committee, the Cambridge Republican City Committee, the Greater Waltham Tea Party and the Waltham Republican City Committee.
