Police Reports: Pair Arrested for Armed Robbery

These reports were collected from the Boston Police Department and took place between Feb. 4 and 12 within Charlestown's District A-15. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
Pair Arrested for Armed Robbery
Two men allegedly robbed a man on Medford Street on Saturday, Feb. 9 but were later caught by police.
Police responded to a call at around 11:30 p.m. for an armed robbery on Medford Street. The victim told police that a male approached his passenger side window, pulled a handgun from his waist, reached into the car and took the victim’s cell phone. A second suspect allegedly approached the driver’s side of the vehicle, opened the door and put a gun against the victim’s neck, “demanding everything he had,” according to reports.
The suspects were then startled by a vehicle traveling down Medford Street, and they reportedly fled into the Bunker Hill development.
Police were able to track down two suspects based on the victim’s descriptions and arrested both individuals, who were not named in the report. The guns were reportedly recovered from the suspects, as was the victim’s cell phone.
Civil Citation for Marijuana at CHS
A person at Charlestown High School was cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana as the result of an administrative search on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Police Investigate Fight on Bunker Hill Street
Police responded to Bunker Hill Street at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 for the report of a fight.
One victim told police that six males had jumped him when he got off the bus. The victim did not know the individuals and was unable to identify them, according to reports. Police noted that others who were reportedly involved in the altercation appeared to have bruises consistent with involvement in a fight.
“All parties were uncooperative with police and would not give any information,” according to reports.
Man Hit in Face after Reprimanding Driver
A man on High Street was reportedly struck in the face on Wednesday, Feb. 6 after he reprimanded a driver who ran a stop sign.
The victim told police that he watched a vehicle go through a stop sign without stopping and approached the driver, telling her to “try to be more aware of her surroundings,” according to reports. At that point, an unknown teenage male got out of the vehicle and struck the victim in the face with his hand. The teen then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Suspect Attempts to Rob Taxi Driver
A suspect allegedly attempted to rob a taxi driver on Wednesday, Feb. 6 on Corey Street.
The taxi driver told police that he was parked on the street at around 8 p.m. when a group of people walked past his cab and entered the St. Mary - St. Catherine of Siena Church parking lot. Then one of the individuals allegedly approached the cab, pulled the driver’s door open and pointed a gun at the driver saying, “Give me the money.”
The driver took off before the suspect could do anything else, according to reports.
Police searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
