Criminals prying doors open in broad daylight... Do you know why they're this brazen? Because they know that Charlestown cops only respond if they are called, and that there are no cops actually patrolling the neighbourhood. Just another part of King Menino's legacy.

I did see a cop drive by me while I was clearing snow off my car earlier. He actually slowed down and stared at me as if I was doing something wrong. Whatever ever happened to cops walking a beat in city neighborhoods? I used to see it all the time when I was a kid.
Just a person!

To bad there wasn't somebody with a gun all ready on the other side of the door!
Ban guns I dont think so..... Like "King Mennino" wants to do!
They would have thought twice if they thought some body was in the house with a gun!
