The Friends of the Charlestown Navy Yard held its Annual Winter Warm Up on Thursday, March 1. In spite of the snowy weather, 150 people were in attendance at Parris Landing in the Navy Yard for this social event. Awards were presented to Mayor Thomas M. Menino (accepted by Danielle Valle Fitzgerald, Mayor Menino's community liaison) and to Charlestown Against Drugs (accepted by Michael Charbonnier, Chairman).
