Charlestown Nursery School and the Charlestown Mothers Association held a sign-making event at the school's art studio on Saturday, March 16. Children were invited to come make "Please Pick-Up After Your Dog" signs for their streets to encourage neighborhood care.

"We hope these friendly reminders will encourage dog owners to clean up and that as neighbors we can encourage personal responsibility. Dog feces have such unfortunate environmental and public safety dangers," Charlestown resident Kelly Garvey Pellagrini wrote in an email about the event.

Thank you to Lynne Soutter of CMA for coordinating, and a big thank you to Durty Harry's for donation bags for the children to share with dog owners.
