Victoria Coots, Ashley Daly, Tom Coots, Diane Grant, Amy Coughlin and Dave Lynch dedicated a wreath to Williard Stievater in front of McCullough, Stievater and Polvere law firm on Main Street. Stievater began the Charlestown wreath tradition 20 years ago.

By the end of the day Saturday, participants and organizers of this year's Holiday Stroll and Festival of Trees declared the event a success. Local businesses opened their doors to the neighborhood. Visitors were greeted with giveaways and more than a dozen Christmas trees around the town, each decorated by volunteers from local nonprofits. There was caroling, there were visits from Santa and a trolley shuttling revelers up and down Main Street, from City Square to the StoveFactory Gallery.
