Looking to adopt a pet? Rugby is now up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

Are you in need of a new lap warmer? Well Rugby is your guy. Rugby is an adorable one-year-old chihuahua mix that was transferred to the Animal Rescue League of Boston from another area shelter. He is a shy boy that would do best in a quiet, adult-only home. He warms up to women quickly, but is much more apprehensive towards men.

Once comfortable, this little guy is very playful and a joy to be around. He loves to prance while out on walks but would love to sleep in your lap for hours while you read a book or watch TV. Rugby likes other dogs that are calm and could probably easily adapt to living with a cat.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is open Tuesday through Thursday 1-7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 1-4 p.m., excluding some holidays.
