One More Week of Restaurant Deals

Boston's Restaurant Week wraps up soon. Just a few more days to snag a discounted meal at a high-end restaurant.

Today is Monday, August 22. Here are five things you need to know today.

1. It's the end of the summer -- a notoriously slow time for business and, for the record, news outlets. From these doldrums, Restaurant Week was sprung. ( is the only Charlestown restaurant on this season's list.)

2. If you haven't yet visited the (Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. on Main Street roughly across from the co-operative bank) this is the *the* time to do it. Abundance is the word, and the tomatoes and the corn have never tasted better.
