Movie Tour Company Brings Fans to Charlestown
Movie and TV tour company On Location features several Charlestown Locations.
As more Hollywood production companies bring work to Boston, Charlestown could see a continuing increase in the number of tourists gawking at otherwise-unremarkable spots.
The Boston Herald had a story recently about two tours that bring Hollywood sightseers to spots around the city—including the Charlestown flower shop featured in The Town.
The piece focused on two different options presented by On Location Tours. The first sends customers on a 90-minute iPad-guided walking tour of 25 locations. The second puts customers on a bus to see more than 40 sites in three hours. Both present clips that correspond to the tour stops.
The story says that the tours are in a constant state of flux due to Hollywood’s whims and hits, but tour guide and Norwood native Dave Aspro said that Good Will Hunting remains one of his and his customers’ favorites, though Ben Affleck's The Town is sure to be near the top of that list.

You know, that's what I thought as well. Then, I saw Charlestown in this story and trusted the Herald reporter to have had it right. Sounds like I shouldn't have.
