This is Fenway. He's still just a pup -- he'll be celebrating his first birthday on Jan. 9. He's a pure pug, who loves hanging out at Paul Revere Park. But after a long afternoon of playing with other dogs, Fenway really likes to chill in front of the TV and watch a Celts or Sox game. Erin Maloney

Leo is a five month-old Golden Doodle. He moved to Charlestown from Merrimack, N.H. when he was nine weeks-old. He's grown to love Doherty Park, as well as sleeping. He actually sleeps on his back with paws in the air. If you tell Leo "no" more than a few times or deny him food, he vocalizes like a human and says, "awww."
Kona is another boxer. She's one and a half and her owner says her favorite spot in Charlestown is Durty Harry's. (She likes to party with Harry.) Kona has recently learned to drink from the water fountain, so on warm summer days, she doesn't need to bring water on her walks anymore.
This is a very happy Boxer family. That's Daisy Lou Doodles in the front. She's only seven, but she's the mother of the two puppies behind her -- Pixie and Teddy Bear Williams. They're both five. This crew of boxers live happily together. Pixie is a talker, even when her mouth is full of something, like a pair of socks. Teddy is loving and affectionate and Daisy is setting an excellent example: she's obedient and mild-mannered.

People in Charlestown... they really love their pets. Spend an afternoon at Paul Revere Park, at the monument or the Navy Yard, and it's pretty obvious. Dogs in Charlestown have it good. We know: Cats and other critters have it pretty good, too. In an effort to highlight this affection and to bring you one consistently bright spot every week, we're launching this column, 02129 Petraits. Add your pet! Please send photos and a little bio of your pet to kristi.ceccarossi@patch.com and help us keep this going! We're especially interested in your cat photos. (We've gotten enough dogs to last a few weeks.)

*02129 Petraits is made possible with the wonderful support of the crew at Durty Harry's on Main Street, and all of Harry's friends.

About this column: Let's face it -- people in Charlestown *love* their pets. 02129 Petraits is a weekly photo collection of some of the neighborhood's most loved animals. To submit to Petraits, email kristi.ceccarossi@patch.com.
