Isaac Remnants Bring Up to Two Inches to Charlestown

You may have figured this one out, but close the windows.

 

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Sufolk County and most of New Engand, with remnants of Isaac bringing heavy rainful and flooding potential to the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy rain and possible flooding is expected into Wednesday, with the latest forecast suggesting the strongest rains across the northern part of the state, where totals of up to four inches are possible. The forecast is slightly better for Charlestown, with one to two inches predicted.

Tonight, predicts the NWS, showers and a possibly a thunderstorm is predicted, as well as showers and storms into Wednesday, mainly before 5 p.m. Patchy fog, too, is a concern.
