Industrial Worker Reports Boss Struck Him, Told Him "You're Fired"
The incident occurred Saturday at Bunker Hill Industrial Park.
A worker at Bunker Hill Industrial Park reported Saturday that his supervisor slugged him, unprovoked, and then drove away yelling “you’re fired.”
Boston Police responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., Saturday. The victim there told police that his supervisor had called him and his partner into the office. The supervisor, the victim reported, ordered his partner out, then “pushed the victim into his office where he punched the victim in the left side of his face and jaw.”
The victim ran from the office and told his partner to wait while the victim called police. He saw a state trooper working nearby and reported the incident, but the trooper could not leave his post.
Meanwhile, the supervisor along with another man got into a truck and drove away, according to a police report.
The victim told police that he sees the supervisor in the morning to get assignments, but, otherwise, has minimal contact with the man. The victim also said he “doesn’t understand this unprovoked attack.”
According to the report, a witness corroborated the victim’s story.
