How to Run For Charlestown Neighborhood Council
Neighborhood Council elections are coming up. If you'd like to run, here's what you need to know.
The following was sent to us by the Charlestown Neighborhood Council. It has been edited only for format.
The Charlestown Neighborhood Council is currently accepting nominations for the 7 At-Large community seats on the council.
In order to qualify:
- Candidates for the At-Large seats on the CNC MUST be residents of Charlestown and must be at least 18 years of age.
- A minimum of twenty-five (25) signatures is required to secure a spot on the ballot for the election scheduled for November 17, 2012.
- Any Charlestown resident 18 years of age or older may sign the nomination papers.
- Completed nomination papers must be postmarked no later than Friday, November 2, 2012 and sent to:

Attn: Election Committee - The election will take place on Saturday November 17, 2012 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 545 Medford Street, Charlestown, MA. From 10AM-2PM.

Diane - Are you the only one on the CNC that reads and comments on The Patch?
How about a precinct map? Can someone please post a precinct map? I have a strong hunch that there are several readers that have no idea what precinct they live in. Thank you.
