We've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children. Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

LOONEY TUNES WEEKEND
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline
Why Go: These cartoons are the crown princes of animation!
Pricing: $7 adults; $5 kids

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK BY SPRING VALLEY PUPPET THEATER
Where/When: Thursday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. to noon at The Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline
Why Go:  A beautiful and fun presentation of a classic tale
Pricing: $10 general admission (a ticket is required for any child over 12 months of age)

IRISH FESTIVAL AT PATRIOT PLACE
Where/When: Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Patriot Place in Foxboro 
Why Go: Celebrate all things Irish, including music and Irish step dancing performances.
Pricing: Free

SMALL WORLDS: DOLL HOUSES FROM THE SHANE COLLECTION EXHIBIT
Where/When: Sunday, March 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wenham Museum in Wenham
Why Go: 30 cleverly-crafted miniature houses, rooms, farms and more 
Pricing: $7.50 Adults,; $5.50 Children ages 1- 18

MAPLE SUGAR DAYS AT BROOKWOOD FARM
Where/When: Saturday and Sunday, March 12 & 13 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. atBrookwood Farm in Milton
Why Go: Watch maple syrup as it's made, plus activities for all ages!
Pricing: $6 per person; free for children 2 and under
