English: It's Killing Me. I Need to Get This Open
Celebrity Chef Todd English tells licensing board he's waiting on one last inspection.
Celebrity Chef Todd English told the Boston Licensing Board, Tuesday, that his restaurant is ready to go—save for one final inspection, which is scheduled for Thursday.
Universal Hub attended the meeting and captured video of a frustrated English, who said that he is already training staff and has already paid his contractors for their work.
"I'm anxious to have it start going the other way," English said, "the money coming in as opposed to going out."
The opening of English's restaurant has been delayed several times, though the interior appears ready for use.
Charlestown Patch has attempted to contact English several times, but has received no response.

He's probably just stalling so he can have a 2 year anniversary grand re-opening, right? Ugh, what a load of BS the whole process has been.

It's a "destination restaurant" for god's sake!!! Does anyone really care if that place opens? Really? It's overpriced, overrated, it's had it's day "in the sun" years ago. You
can't even hear yourself think much less carry on a conversation. There are so many good restaurants since that opened. Does C-town really need that place for the towns' ego? Let's start to focus on all the people who make C-town a better place than people
who just make money and not give a damn about chimney fires!! Hello?? Anybody home??

Amen. I would prefer anything there but this thing.
