Bunker Hill Teacher and Brother Arrested On Child Pornography Charges
Investigation spearheaded by Department of Homeland Security.

Two brothers are facing felony child pornography charges after being arrested on Dec. 20.
Steven M. Fierimonte, 43, and Robert C. Fierimonte, 50, were arrested by detectives at their residence at 100 Prospect Hill Drive in Tewksbury.
Details regarding the case are limited, as the investigation is ongoing, according to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan.
Sheehan said agents from the Department of Homeland Security arrived at Tewksbury Police Headquarters the morning of Dec. 20 and informed him of an investigation involving the Fierimonte brothers and alleged involvement with child pornography.
Local and federal officers then went to the Prospect Hill Drive home at 12:30 p.m., and both Fierimonte's were arrested by Tewksbury Detectives. Computers allegedly containing images of child pornography were seized at the residence.
Robert Fierimonte is charged with possession of child pornography and concealing child pornography. His place of employment is listed as Winchester Hospital.
Steven Fieremonte is charged with using/consuming child pornography. Records indicate Steve Fierimonte works as a professor of mathematics at both Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown and Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
Both men were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court, according to Sheehan.

You know this doesn't surprise me with all the perverts in and around communities now , you have to wonder why is this allowed to remain some kind of secret club hiding level 1 or 2 sex offenders. I did a search on the sex offender registry board i clicked find sex offenders in my community and I was somewhat surprised that there are a lot at Bunker Hill College , I asked myself how can that be there are children at daycare on that property, I thought that they weren't supposed to be around children? well it seems if this is true Bunker Hill has dropped the ball. or someone has. We need to protect our children more that ever so look on the sex offender registry and see who or how many are in your community.

Addresses?! These guys must not have been in Mayor Mumbles inner circle, huh? Goes to show, if you're part of the City of Boston Machine, and you like kiddie porn, you're a protected criminal and not subject to the same standards as the rest of us. Just stay away from Cook & Medford!!

I understand how people accused of crimes against children, especially when those crimes are sexual in nature, brings out emotions such as yours. However, peoples' typical reactions to such crimes always remind me of the Constitutional rights even those accused of the most heinous rights have. I love that we are a civilized society and that the founders of this nation set forth laws to keep us all from becoming a vicious mob without due process taking its course.

I think owen that if a child is harmed , then all bets are off , they have no rights. there is too much sexual abuse today. people need to get up in arms when it comes to children.

I guess we'll just flush the entire Constitution down the toilet. It can't work one way for one set of criminals and another way for pedophiles. The entire point of our legal system is that we can't just get town limb from limb just because an accusation is made. Getting "up in arms" is one thing, denying someone the basic rights of a fair trial in which the buren of proof rests with the prosecution (meaning that the accused is presumed innocent and the prosecution must prove guilt) is quite another. It is difficult to remain in a rational frame of mind when a child is harmed. They are trusting, vulnerable, and often unable to defend themselves from predators. However, the supression of such irrational reactions to heinous acts against children, and the the reasoned approach to the arrest, trial, and, if found guilty, punishment of those who would prey upon children is vital to maintaining a civilized society.
Is there any more or less sexual abuse today than there has been in the past, or is it that it is being more openly addressed in public forums, with law enforcement more easily able to carry out investigations with much better tools than they had in years past?

As for there being a "lot of sex offenders" at BHCC, they are all registered if attending the college, their photos are publically posted in the main lobby. The Day Care operates under a separate entity and in a nearly separate facility. There is not opportunity for the children to mix with the general student and staff population. Additionally there are more than 200+ CCTV cameras throughout the college, a competent day care staff and a vigilant Public Safety Department. Although offenders, these people have rights and access to public institutions, buildings and services.

Those pictures of children aren't fake people, those are real pix of real children, get a grip. These men are sick and if given the chance , would possess child porn again in a HEARTBEAT!!!!!!! There is no cure for this type of sexual behavior, so all you liberals, how would you feel if these men were whacking to your kids pic?? Wake up....they will continue to do it again and again and again. So feel free to pretend these men will get rehabilitated, whatever helps you sleep at night.
