Watch the new season of the award-winning series "Boston Profiles" on BNN TV!

In it's series premiere, "Boston Profiles" gave viewers the opportunity to get to know some of Boston’s most effective and influential, yet unsung citizens - City Fresh Foods founder, Glynn Lloyd and City Year founding board member, Charlie Rose were among the people featured in season one of "Boston Profiles"

The new season of "Boston Profiles" will allow viewers get to know a new group of visionaries and learn how they impact the lives of so many in their own, unique way throughout Greater Boston.  Scott Mercer, "Boston Profiles" host and seasoned television personality, will lead the one-on-one discussions covering issues and topics affecting the Boston community.

"Boston Profiles" can be seen every Tuesday at 9 PM, beginning February 26, only on BNN’s News and Information [Comcast 9 | RCN 15].

BOSTON PROFILES SCHEDULE ON BNN TV

Episode 1: Denise Korn, Founder, Korn Design
Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 9PM

Denise created her design firm and then founded Youth Design to create relationships with Boston high school students and the design companies in Boston. She also authored a pocket book called "10 Who Mentor" that profiles 10 people who are having a major impact on young people through mentoring. Episode 2: Ted Cutler, Founder, Outside the Box Festival
Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 9PM

Ted, an Emerson College alum and Dorchester native, had the idea for a 10-day celebration of all things artsy years ago, but the down economy prevented further development.  Now scheduled for July 12-21, 2013, the Outside the Box Festival is designed to change the way people engage and explore creativity, innovation and invention through the discovery and participation of the arts in various locations around the city.  Ted also created the Greater Boston Food Bank facility overlooking RTE 93 and he restored the Cutler Majestic Theater located in the theater district. Episode 3: Don West, Photojournalist, Don West Foto
Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 9PM

Don has been a photographer documenting Boston's news and events for many years. In particular, Don has chronicled the African-American experience from a community and political point of view. From Nelson Mandela's visit to Boston upon release from prison to President Obama's Democratic Speech in Boston, Don's presence and documentation of these events has made him a Boston icon in his own right. Don created Black Wire News Service, which provides his photographs to any publication seeking to lease his or other photographers' photographs. Episode 4: Deborah Jackson, President, Cambridge College
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 9PM

Deborah Jackson has worked in urban policy and community service for over 20 years. She was formerly the CEO of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay and held a senior position at the Boston Foundation. She has continually advocated and created policy for the underserved or underrepresented communities and individuals throughout Boston and the state of Massachusetts.
