"The i Create campaign is about the importance and role that arts can and should play in the life of students and an urban school system," according to press release about the concert. "Boston Public Schools (BPS) Arts Expansion is accelerating the expansion and coordination of arts learning opportunities across the school district. The overriding goal is to increase access, equity and quality of arts learning for all students. The i Create campaign is aimed at ensuring BPS students, their families and the broader community is aware of the increase in arts education in the schools."
