Suffolk County To See Strong Winds, Gusts Up To 60 MPH
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch for Suffolk County in effect from late Thursday through Friday afternoon.
Winds will be 30-40 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 mph. The strongest winds will occur Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Winds of this magnitude could down trees and powerlines.
