Son of former resident creates Boston-inspired song/Music Video
Michael Maloney, son of Ann (Callahan) Maloney, having recently raised $800 for Boston Children's Hospital through the sales of his 'Maybe This Christmas' fundraiser, has just created a music video for his song "Back To Boston" off his new album, "Boston EP", a collection of 3 original Boston-inspired pop/rock songs.
Maloney has had a busy summer performing at the Medford Farmer's Market, as well as themarkets in Peabody, Winchester, Malden, Melrose, Arlington, the Yankee Home Coming Festival in Newburyport, and Woodstock 4 Boston in the Common.
He'll be playing at the Middle East Corner, Suffolk Downs' Foodtruck Festival of NE, and the farmer's markets in Union Square and Salem in the next two months.
The "Back To Boston" video, directed by Malden's Jesse Manfra, tells the story of a hopeful, lost-love young man, visiting all the major Boston locations, and has almost reached 300 views over the past three days.
