Eli Swab, Roxbury Latin sophomore and Charlestown resident, was recently recognized in the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards. Eli received a Silver Key Award in the Photography category for his Fenced In.

In total, more than 13,000 pieces of artwork from students across Massachusetts were submitted in 13 categories. Judges chose to celebrate exceptional work with the award categories of Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention. All individual work recognized with a Gold Key and Silver Key award will be on view and open to the public in the Massachusetts Transportation Building, 10 Park Plaza, in Boston. The exhibit will be open from Monday, February 11 to Friday, April 19, with a special exhibit and awards presentation on Sunday, March 3.
