In the coming week, the Kennedy Center will be wrapping up its annual toy drive, which provided toys, clothes, games and more for hundreds of children living in Charlestown.

The response to donation requests has been great, but the number of families needing assistance this year is larger than ever.

"We are asking the community to help us reach our goal of providing a happy holiday for 300 hundred children by making a donation to the Kennedy Center's Toy Drive," Executive Director Terry Kennedy said.
